So, this is a ficlet that came out of an idea that popped up while tagging a gorgeous thread with yardbird, and I ran with it. It was supposed to be a drabble, but it turned into a real doozy.

This is set after Anne leaves the Tranquility, so it's based in her ataraxion canon, and it's mildly soul-crushing as usual.
